Oh dear,my apologies for being late in contributing to theis thread :)
It doesn't bother me about people being late, providing they have a valid explanation.I know I've been unavoidably late myself by getting caught up in traffic or stuck on a train that's broken down.Sometimes there's nothing you can do.

I cant stand waiting on people and it seems like Im always waiting. I was supposed to meet a friend a few days ago and ended up waiting 3 hours before he showed up

I don't care if people are late. They come when they come. If they don't ever show up and don't call, I just call them to see what's going on and if I can do my other things I had planned. Sometimes I don't even bother with that - I just start doing my other things. I don't give it much thought - except I do realize that this can really bother other people, so I try not to be late and call if I am.

There's an ongoing joke I have with a lot of people here in the South. It goes like this...

Up north, if you're 15 minutes early, you're on time....
Down here in the south, if you're 15 minutes late, you're on time

I hate that with a vengeance.

I know my own time management is not that reliable. So to forestall problems I am always chronically, compulsively early, never late.

I have this antenna for people out of the ordinary and many of them also have timing problems. Quite a few of those are among both my friends and my clients. So you can imagine how frustrated I sometimes get.
