I like to read the last two pages of topics that get my attention, as long as they're current, and if compelled, I'll join.

I usually don't bother with a thread that has multiple pages already. Too much effort to read all the pages and get caught up or else post my reply out of context.

The greater the thread,
the greater the challenge.

Reading long threads can take you a few hours depending on how long it is and how long the posts are. I go to one forum and they expect you to read everything if you want to know about something. They even encourage lurking for a while before posting.

By any chance, are you talking about the forum SomethingAwful?

Ponyland Catfights.

I don't post there often or go there much.

I was lurking there once or twice when another member claimed to be bullied on that website, what is that place about?

Long threads take too long to read. A lot of the time you have to read most of it, if not all of it to know what's going on. Unless it's extremely interesting, I don't want to take the time to read all that.

It seems to be another I2 site. Freedom of speech except for porn since it violates their TOS and you have to be 18 and older. People there also moan about members from other My Little Pony forums and make fun of them behind their backs. You have to have a thick skin to be there. No place for sensitive people.
