he may be referring to those stupid ads that say "Who's hotter: Britney or Miley?"
or just clicking on an ad in general.

i avoid ads like the plague. i avoid the radio, turn down or turn off the tv when ads come on, and sometimes stop a page from fully loading just so the ads won't load.

I hate ads! I use Adblock, don't watch TV, and listen only to NPR so as not to have to hear radio ads. Really, really, cannot stand commercials. The whole concept of trying to induce people to buy more junk offends me!

I never respond to them, half the times, my one corrupts my computers so that's why I don't bother clicking them.
Only if I feel it is safe and I can trust and something that really interesting then probably.

Once in a blue moon I see an advert so ludicrous I have to click it.

What I mean by "respond" is at least clicking on the ad (on purpose, not on accident). Sorry about that; I should have clarified. Maybe I should have created a survey. Oh well...it's just for fun :)

I never respond to online ads. Sometimes I get them on Skype, and I'll respond with a nasty message like "F off." "stupid advertisers" etc. but that's it. I always delete them or block them otherwise, though.
