I only get songs stuck in my head when I am seriously depressed.

When I am feeling "normal" it doesn't happen.

Nothing right now, but yesterday morning I was in a store and a Carpenters' song was playing. The one with the refrain as shooby doo lang lay. It was in my head all day . I know this happens to everyone but does it happen to the neurodiverse more do you think? I once had a song in my head for a solid week but I really liked the song, fortunately.

Every time I see this topic the same Carpenters song that was stuck in my head a few days ago starts up again. I need an intervention.

What else would be going through my head, with all the times that I screw up, here? 'Such A Shame' by The Kinks is my favourite song, right now.
