TeaEarlGreyHot - I dislike shopping for shoes only because I have a wide foot. Not many shoes cater to the wide foot (just like clothing, ugh.) Purses are fun but I try not to buy too many like my mother she has purses out the wazoo.

Mudboy- I hate it when they are stocking shelves when it's crowded. Pretty much keeps you from the entire aisle. D:

Descartes - Lucky. I might find it relaxing if the people weren't so stupid. D:

Wombat - Exactly. Especially when they're getting something from the deli or something. Then the cart can be there for a while. I usually move it out of my way or just go around.

blue_bean - Mom always wants to go right after dinner, around 6pm. That's when it's really crowded but she wants to be back in time for her shows. I avoid the ice cream aisle entirely now. Dieting sucks. D:

Rocky - Love your profile pic. :D We go grocery shopping every two weeks. If we did self check out- it would take even longer. Besides, those lines are so long and as a former cashier, I feel they take jobs away from kids who need to save up money for college text books or something. D:

I have wide feet and simply buy the next larger size shoe. But I am a guy and can get away with it.

I also eat sugar free, fat free ice cream. It does not taste as good, but I can't seem to give it up.

It's the same for me.

All that noise, the light, the many people and other obstacles to look out for make me very nervous and I become unable to focus on anything. Whenever I get back from a trip to the supermarket I usually need a short nap or some time to myself to recover.

Shopping is in every way unpleasant. Online shopping I like better though. Except for the whole "what if it doesn't fit me" - "what if I type in the wrong numbers" - "what if something is broken on the way" and such. But it's not as stressful.

Mudboy - Yeah, women's shoes aren't so forgiving. Fat free ice cream is okay but I would rather not eat it at all. It's easier for my waistline. D:

GrimmRomance - Grocery shopping is the only stressful shopping for me. I can shop for clothes, shoes, anything else and be okay. It's just so more chaotic at the grocery store. Especially around the holidays. D:

I have no issues with my feet and I don't care how many purses I accumulate. In fact, right now I have enough to fill a dresser. Don't care... I want more.

Oh... I guess that qualifies as collecting lots of different types of the same thing. I even have some I'll never use. I just wanted them. :-X

I HATE grocery shopping, well any shopping, only because of all the people. They're all so rude, it seems! I've just moved to Perth for a while after spending a few years in the country, and I can't get used to the crowds again. I've started buying groceries online so I only have to pop in quickly if i forget something or need something else. I can't wait to move back where it's always quite empty in the shops!
