Haha. No worries. I'm sure you didn't offend anyone. At least no me. The Magik I refer to is the manipulation of the energy around you and life force. Wiccans arn't some crazy people that think they can fly and crap like that.

I didn't presume so, any more than other religions. Thanks for the response.

I disagree, and here's why. The universe as we know it is dumb and subject to testing but there's nothing to say there aren't a bunch of intelligent creatures lurking somewhere in the shadows able to do something odd. If I pick up a book and let go of it, it'll fall. If I pick up a book and invoke the aid of one of these hypothetical creatures to stop it falling, it'll fall. Unless the creature a) really does exist and b) wants to do something for me. The second part is of great importance. Magic which requests the aid of other intelligences - call them demons, call it God, whatever - is not easily subject to scientific investigation because they can always choose to withhold their power if it seems like someone is snooping on them. ^^

I don't think they're out there, but if they were, we couldn't easily confirm their presence unless they wanted us to know. :)

I'm with the "love spells are unethical" posters.

I thought I had seen it all on WP in terms of men looking to find ways to meet women.

Magic. Really? :|

If such a way existed I'm sure it would be known by mass people and abused regularly.

There is, however, a lust spell. It's called alcohol.

I put a spell on you, because you're mine.

That is why I am agnostic instead of atheist. I have studied Statistics, however, and the odds seem very small. Some would say the odds can be rounded to zero and call themselves atheists.

Me too! Screamin' Jay Hawkins did the best known version.

As a Pagan that does not believe in potions or spells... OMFG

If anyone truly wants to try something like this (and not the fake stalkerish shampoo bottle thing LOL) then remember the threefold rule. Each time you put something out there, it comes back to you three fold. Trying to trick someone into loving you (and whether you believe love spells work or not, that what they are) is negative energy.

Basically...what Furantic said. Ignorant of the Rede, I tried a number of such love spells when I was younger, and they backfired in complicated ways. One, it's unethical, and two, the person concerned may, unbeknown to you, have an unpalatable sexual fetish, a bunny-boiler ex, a gambling problem, or be totally the wrong person for you for a multitude of other reasons.

There are indeed love spells which act on you to make you attractive to someone who will be right for you. Those are perfectly ethical, but won't have any effect on that cute person you had in mind if they aren't actually The One. And none of them work unless you get out and mingle.

mix:
1 part lemongrass
2 parts birdshit
5 parts vodka
& 3 parts gold shavings (preferrably from a wedding ring pilfered from the grave of the recently deceased  )

pour all into an antiquey-looking bottle and allow to fester for 13 days :thumleft:

last step, and this is the most crucial... break into their house and replace the shampoo in their shampoo bottle with said mixture. Place your hand over the shampoo bottle and chant your own name 3 times. If you personally don't feel that is enough, write your name legibly somewhere on the bottle in permanent marker; more effective with last name included  .

:lmao: Ha Ha! Image
guaranteed to work... or possibly land you in jail :)
either way you're likely to get some loving from somebody

 Ha Ha!

Sean's mixture is correct, but the problem is, the ingredients for making a love spell are virtually identical to those for the spell that makes a palm tree grow between the buttocks of the first person you see. Naturally, the effects of this particular spell can kill any romantic feeling within an instant...much like a bad fart.

Yeah, and it worked, so I advise you not to.

I was advised to make spells as specific as possible. For example, If you did a spell just to get sex, you might get assaulted by a rhino.

I worked a love spell once. It consisted of:

1 part hanging out with friends.
1 part activity pertaining to a mutual interest.
1 after-activity lunch, high quality.
A pinch of movies and a few hours, to taste.
1,243,207 parts courage to neutralize and overtake the natural 1,243,206 parts self-doubt.
1 part asking her if she'd date me.

Let sit and cuddle for two or more hours while the rest of the courage works in.

Finally, add 1 kiss at first, repeat to taste.

It worked, honest!
