I think that the people who are listing their heritage as Native American aren't half Native American; instead, it is from far back in their family tree. I'm not half-Asian, but I still have Asian heritage, for instance.

There's actually a cultural reason why there isn't as much blending as other minorities. It's very complicated so I'm not going to get into it too deeply, but it's essentially frowned upon and discouraged. Sometimes to the point of losing your NA citizenship.

That too. There was only one NA that contributed to my bloodline and it was a few generations back.
