my name is from my interest in fixing doors, my technical school teacher was the one to label it to me and I happened to be thinking of him (he died of cancer in 04) when I was registering to wrongplanet. he was best I ever had he always found a way to make me laugh and made learning a positive experiance and not stuck reading text books and taking notes. he taught building and grounds maintenance to special ed students and he actually cared enough to actually teach not just babysit. (as you can tell i was stuck in special ed all my academical life) and hands-on stuff using tools was only way of "escape" from being treated like i was ret*d due to lack of the knowladge of school officials about autism/aspergers. at times also help the custodians of the school because shippers and suppliers would mistaken our class as the real custodian's office. :D

it was fun to get a good grade all i had ot do was mow, polish floors and i added into it was fix doors and I was better at it then the maintenance that was hired to work there!

hey mcartney, I love the oldies!! !! !(xm 60's on 6)(listening to it now and in my dreams i hear alot of the oldies)

Mine is a tad complicated :P

I hit some keys in a pseudo-random fashion for a Shadowrun Nemesis. Being that he was supposed to be outright psychotic, it stands to reason he should have a name that makes absolutely no sense.

I use it on the net because I have a fair amount of confidence that no one else is going to use it.

How do you pronounce it then? ;)

I'm tempted to just leave everyone guessing...

But it's pronounced Zoin-sir-gwick-zee.

Mine is because I'm a die-hard Jaguars fan as well as a season ticket holder for them.

Mine is basically a nickname from those in my previous job, after Roy Keane, the Irish soccer player.

BTW Ruud van Nistelrooy is a Dutch soccer player and star of the Dutch national team; will be playing in the World Cup this summer.

Well mine, is my ham radio call sign...simply cause I can not think of nicknames no matter how hard I try :)
Been using it for years and years now...whenever I got my license. Seemed easy enough.

This site asked for a user name and I gave them one, the first one that came to mind. It is not my name, nor have I ever met anyone with this name. Although, if I ever have children, I might name one of them werbert. That or Robin Banks.

My middle name is Ariel, but that's always taken when I join a forum. I came up with the idea of adding an "e" to make Aeriel, which fits me because I'm an ex-gymnast (I know, aspie gymnast, weird) and I especially enjoyed doing aerial tumbling stunts.

Aeriel is also a name for a mythical race of beings somewhat akin to faeries. They are said to be aloof and cold, which also seems to fit me. I'm missing the requisite wings, though.

Touretter is a nickname for people with Tourette syndrome, like aspie is to Asperger.

I was involved in a flight sim community for several years. The name wasn't exactly my choice (long story), but it stuck.

My user name comes from my initials and the year of my birth. I know that it is not very imaginative. My creative juices, which often pour out like the water over Niagara Falls, were flowing more like the Todd River on the day I registered on WP.

(The Todd River is this dry sandy river bed in the Australian city of Alice Springs that never flows, except for the occasional flash flood.)

When I was 16 years old, my parents finally bought me a horse. He was a 5 year old ex-racehorse (a Thouroghbred) that was training jockeys. His registered name was Lawless Sundy. I called him Lawless and took Sundy as my user name. :D

He was a great horse and the fastest horse I'd ever ridden. I had to give him up after a while because I had no money to keep him anymore. :(
