Did you used to run about naked as a small child?

I didn't even know what the word "naked" meant until I was 6 years old

Um...no, I don't recall doing that. I think my brother did, though.

First I thought the question was a bit creepy. Wasn't sure I liked to imagine myself naked even now, let alone as a boy. But I was one of those kids I remember. I was never shy undressing in front of people like changing at the beach, I remember running about playing naked up to around 9/10 years old, and many other boys and girls did the same. That was in the 70's though, nowadays we would worry about some pervert wanting to take a picture. Anyway children don't really think in that way, when we are grown up we learn about what is decent behaviour with regard to nudity.

No. I always liked to be clothed as long as the clothes didn't bother me.

^Actually kids can think like that. I did if someone stared at me.

Nope. It wasn't encouraged in my family.

My kids would get about the house in just undies when they were tots. Except my aspie who felt the need to be fully clothed at all times.

Hell yeah. I still like the occasional run around the house naked for fun, my wife freaks that someone will see (and what will happen I wonder? their eyes catch fire??), which is partly why I do it.

When my little brother was 2 he would disappear for a second and then come running through where everyone was, squealing and laughing hysterically, completely naked. He especially liked to do this when there were visitors. It was extremely cute. There's nothing like chasing a naked child who's giggling himself silly - past your dad's workmates.

I always thought of this as a boy thing.

I just wanted to comment that my youngest son (who has AS) does that. He is now 9 years old and still likes the one sock thing.

OMG what is is with that? I thought my boy was the only one-sock-by-preference-maniac in the world?! Yay!!

I think I did, because I do remember being severely reprimanded for doing so.

if it is warm enough, i'd be naked with no problems. it is other folk who would have the problems. most clothing is uncomfortable to me.
my older brother, when he was a diaper-wearing toddler, would, whenever my mother would change him, jump up and run naked and run around the house while peeing everywhich way, shouting "WHEEEEEE!!" and my flustered mother would go running after him, he was ingenious like a greased pig in avoiding being captured.

Oh, socks... As a toddler (some months to about 2 years) I would constantly pull off my socks.
