Those are really good looking Boxers.

Scanner, I've always preferred the Smooth Collies to the Rough Collies. They kind of look a bit quirky to me, and I love how the smooth coat makes their head look.

Belgian Tervurens, Shepherds, and Malinois are also beautiful, intelligent dogs that go unnoticed.

Heh. Aren't they cute?
I'm really pleased with that picture - the afternoon light was just right and caught the glow in their coats perfectly.
That was the best - and the last - of three. They were just on the point of bounding over to investigate my camera's shutter sound!

I love most large working breeds. German shepherds, huskies, labs, etc., and the breeds with recent wolf lineage in them are also pretty cool.

But nothing beats 'best dog, whole world' as we call him, our yellow lab/brittany spaniel mix, Jackson. A favorite, because, well, he's our dog.

To keep, I go for the fluffy, shepherding kind of dogs - Bearded Colllie, Polish Lowland, Tibetan Terrier and so on. Our current mongrel dog has also taught me to aprreciate the larger poodle breeds.

To look at and be around, I prefer the large, athletic breeds. I've always admired Rhodesian Ridgebacks, but I don't think I'd ever be able to keep one properly. New Foundlands, Irish Wolfhounds and most of the Mastiffs I also like.

Siberian Huskies all the way. My Husky is an amazing dog. I also have a Scottish Terrier that I adore. There isn't a dog breed I don't like though.

My parents have had Newfoundland (or Newfies as they are affectionately called) dogs for years, and as long as you're fine with the slobber and dog hair everywhere, they are great to have around. They do require plenty of love and attention and will get lonely if left alone.

1.Collie rough
2. border collie
3. Australian shepherd
4. Belgian shepherd
5. Labrador

I don't really have any favourites beyond that. I like shepherds, while typical hunting dogs usually are too hyperactive to suit me.

Any mongrel, I don't like pedigree dogs. All that inbreeding isn't good for them.

I like big dogs, like Golden Retrievers.

Not all purebred dogs are inbred, and sometimes inbreeding isn't actually bad for the dogs, if done properly. The whole thing is a pretty complex matter, but really the bottom line is that there are good breeders and bad, those that know what they're doing and breed carefully for health and good genetics, and those that don't give a damn and just want to make money. Purebred dogs from responsible breeders can be just as healthy as mutts, and problems can equally arise in the breeding of mutts.
