Not every language.... but I would like to know.....Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese (both kinds) and Spanish.

I already know French, English and Italian.

I'd love to have the ability to learn every language in the world. That would open up a lot of doors for me.

In an ideal world, given a staggeringly long lifespan and a good deal of free time to devote to such an endeavour, it would certainly be endlessly fascinating. I imagine the reputation I'd earn and the ego massage that would inevitably follow would be no bad thing, either. :P

With the pressure of time and resources being what it is, though, I think I'll just settle for my retirement project of mastering a handful of languages that have been particularly prominent or widespread over the centuries...

i really wouldn't mind being fluent in body language, the most handy language in this world.

I like learning languages, but a lot of them are redundant because they only branched off recently or grew up alongside another language. I'd never commit my life to learning every single Italic or Sino language in existence because it isn't worth my time.
