like L-phenylalanine not some useless tarurine(spelled wrong).

L-Phenylalanine is dangerous by itself; it needs to be taken along with other amino acids such as L-Cystine. Hence why Aspartame is so dangerous. L-Phenylalanine crosses the blood brain barrier too quickly and wreaks havoc on the central nervous system if consumed by itself. Another reason Aspartame is bad.

Many energy drinks contain B12 and ginseng. The B12 would be good except it is in the form of cyanocobalamine which is neurotoxic in Autistics, those with chronic illnesses, smokers and those that live in industrial areas. Ginseng is good for men, but it makes women menstruate too heavily. Taurine is actually considered a good supplement for Autistics (and also Cats.)

Purdey's silver tastes really nice (the gold one is disgusting!), or I have sugar free Red Bull. I normally have the Red Bull because I have diabetes, so I can only drink Purdeys if my blood sugar is low. If it's REALLY low then a mocha with an extra expresso shot is the best :D

The diabetes plus a strong taste for alcohol also mean I'm often dehydrated, so caffeine isn't always a good idea.

I never realised that my tiredness and sweet tooth could be related to Asperger's.

I like Monster Khaos. It's the Monster energy drink made with a mix of orange and carrot juice. Tastes good, and gives you energy for hours. As an added bonus, it has a lot of vitamins.

For jet lag, final exam days, and when I have to get up at 4:00 AM, I use Chasers 5-Hour Energy. It's actually more like medicine than an energy drink, similar to the stuff truckers use. Works wonders, but takes a toll on your body, so I use only when I absolutely have to.

Mountain Dew MDX. Possibly doesn’t provide the best energy, but like the taste

MY favorite energy drink is the blood of alien gods. Mind you it's more of a mystic energy thing, and it has the side affects of making one an evil psychotic inhuman monster like the alien god the blood is from...

But hey, I'd like to see any of you try and draw on the forces beyond the Astral Plane without it.

And you won't. Why?

Because it's impossible. THAT'S why.

I love Gatorade. But I've always wanted to try Booster Juice; it's a chain all over Edmonton, maybe even all over Canada. But it's such an expensive place... very high quality though.

Lucozade. I can't stand any of the taurine-based drinks because they are what I imagine horse piss to taste like.

Most energy drinks taste the same (they taste like Red Bull) I have tried a few, however, that don't taste like that. Mountain Dew MDX is good stuff. Here are some more that don't taste like red bull:

-180
-Bawls
-Vault

I like Amp ( the one made by Mountain Dew) because it is one of the few that tastes good. Most energy drinks taste like something I'd put in an automobile. I usually get the Diet Amp to conserve on the calories and sugar and it tastes pretty good, too.
