-Kindness is seen here as a virtue, not weakness
-The government cares at least a little about the Envrioment
-Universal Health Care
-Many social programs
-Our army is extremely effective despite being under equiped and small
-Good record for helping solve international disputes.
-Pretty good distribution of wealth (not so much of a gap between the rich and the poor)
-Multiple Citizenship (we had polls set up for the Iraq election!)

I love this country. We manage to be hardcore about being nice people.

It's like America but with common sense and far fewer people.

I wonder if those two factors are related in any way?

I REALLY REALLY want to go across Canada by train. It looks beautiful and all of the Canadian people I've ever met have been great. Even the people I know who are British but related to Canadians are really cool - perhaps being nice is genetic?

I like Canada Dry gingerale too, but why do they call it dry?

I like the Parachute Club and Nik Kershaw though most Canadians probably don't know who they are either.

I like that Canada is always there looming above the US and when things get bad we always can exclaim "This sucks, I;m moving to Canada!" But then most that say that never do which is probably a good thing for Canada. I used to have a real nice friend in British Columbia but he died a few years ago. I miss you George!

Their healthcare system.
The fact that it's not very far away.
They created Hockey.
The Canadian Rockies.
*Canadian Club whiskey. Though I don't drink the stuff.
And home to someone who is still in my heart.
And lastly-Canada gave us William Shatner-no wait. . .that's a bad thing.
