Okay. So I received this IM out of the blue this morning from someone only identified as “fiona.” The only Fiona I know is featured on the home page of Aspie Affect. I couldn’t imagine why she was contacting me. So this person tells me never to take anything they say seriously. Then they tell me they are Alex Plank, who is also featured on the homepage at AA. Then they ask me what I think of that Christopher M guy. Now the only person I imagine would be interested in my opinion of a self-centered SOB like Chris M would be Chris M. Then there’s someone claiming to be emp claiming to have done 3.1 mil in calendars last year. Can you see how my suspicions were aroused? Then I see “I’m getting that deleted, what a cheek” at WP followed by the same message in IM. Now I’m convinced that this is our nemesis creatively trying to stir up trouble. At this point, I still haven’t connected the message with bopp and I still don’t understand what she’s upset about. Personal details? Whose personal details? Then bopp demands that I delete it at once. Your MSN conversations? What are you talking about? Then Litigious chimes in with threats of banishment. The posts are not yet deleted by admin and I’m still here, so these were obviously empty threats designed to intimidate me into desired behavior. Now who can we think of that would want to do a thing like that?

Now bopp, you say it’s obviously you, but obviously it’s not so obvious. If you had not identified yourself in the thread I would have never guessed it was you. You weren’t even on my list of suspects. In fact, if you hadn’t outted yourself, no one who didn’t already know your first name would have known it was you. I won’t post private communications from people I know without their consent. Ask Solidess and Stinky. I was absolutely convinced that this was one of our frequent trolls. You seem to know better than anybody of the “wild west” nature of the internet. Nevertheless, I am truly sorry for my part in this. My messenger is available if you want to talk some more.

As to the rest of you, I'm still not sure I know what's going on.

I get the sense that MrMark is being ganged up upon. I don't think he meant any harm. Is it possible that hale bopp thought that was an IM with her simply because it talked about pics for a calendar, yet since she does not (one surmises now) have a photographic recall of her IMs, she thinks it is her IM and that her privacy is being breached? Even though it must have been someone else.

I sincerely doubt anyone around here is making $3.1mil off of a calendar. If so, could you please found Aspieville so we can get this polyandry thing underway????!

I have been receiving unsolicted songs via yousendit, to add to the mystery, though it is probably wholly unconnected.

Despite i am agaisnt copying/pasting MSN conversation but I agree with one thing with MrMark adn his explination makes sense.
Something creepy going on here ...

So it s possible that an account or accounts hacked by someone Christoph_m or another user? And for how long we are being fooled?
and what the connection between fiz(fiona) and hale_bopP? and why hale_bopp posted these comments as if this was her msn conversation??
This show few clues and few questions?:
-Hale_bopp in WP= Fiona 's msn account (maybe they are hacked by a same person?)
-Christoph_m is the first suspect but not the sure suspect.
-Why Alex didn't reacte against hale_bopp for using his full name??
-Where is the user Fiz(fiona?) in WP ?? I didn't see her online for a long time . We were used to pm few times ago.

How exactly are you (general you) going to hack into an msn account? Doesn't it freeze you out after X number of incorrect tries?

Wouldn't you actually have to get into her computer to catch her password?

I don't know how, but I also don't know the reeason why any of this would happen anyway.

Well, there was a problem earlier that stated that I had to register in order to reply to a post. I thought there was a problem with the server, but then I restarted my computer and that fixed the problem.

Chris M just won another hand in the game, even if he wasn't dealt any cards. Gawd, I hate trolls.

I certainly understand your explanation and I can't see how you did anything wrong in light of the disruption that a troll can cause. The only thing that might have been better, for all, is to PM the whole message directly to Alex instead of starting a thread.

I think the whole thing needs to dissolve and the thread should be deleted.
