Why do people with disabilities seem to have big teeth?
I remember a few disabled kids back in school who had bad overbites etc. Maybe it's because it was hard for them to keep up maintenance of orthodontic devices like braces and retainers (in amongst all the other personal care things they're unable to do themselves). Plus if they're the type who likes to chew or put things in their mouth that's not good for braces either.
I'd imagine most profoundly disabled people would not have the best of dental health.
I have sinus problems so sometimes I have to keep my mouth open when I have a sort of attack of a blocked nose, and I can't blow it out because it's where I can't get to it - it's not the same type of blocked nose you get with a cold. It's more trapped right in the sinuses, causing eachaches too. But I don't open my mouth wide - I just leave it open enough to help me breathe better.
I have got big ugly front teeth, and I don't know why because I used to have ''traintrack'' braces. I was lucky with my braces because most other kids in school had them too, so at the time braces were considered cool. But I have no idea why I've got big teeth. When I talk, the top two rub against my bottom lip, and you can only see these two teeth when I talk. God knows how so many men fancy me when I'm a goofy doofus.
