Because they come in in adulthood, often when you are an elderly person and an old age is associated with wisdom. :D

Once I saw in a children's movie that a donkey had his wisdom tooth removed and he got really dumb, afterwards, lol.

They were giving me trouble, so they had to take them out. Fortunately, they took out all four, so now I don't have to worry about them again, ever.

I had all four wisdom teeth removed shortly before my 21st birthday and it was not a pleasant experience.

I've never had any. They never formed. They're just not there. I used to think that was rare, but it's actually quite common.

I had them removed a few months after turning seventeen. It was hard to not be able to eat anything too solid for the next week or so, but after getting braces, I have this in perspective. The surgery to remove my wisdom teeth wasn't bad, because the aftereffects were gone after a few weeks, but I will have to wear these braces for six to twelve months. They hurt, they give me sores all over my mouth, and they are so hard to clean.

I voted that they were removed... but I still have them! They are in a draw next to my toothbrush! :D

I know exactly how you feel. Too much maintenance goes into braces.

There they are! I am saving them for when the economy turns around. When the price of teeth goes up I will sell them to the tooth fairy!

I read you wrong. But how on earth are they still in one piece?

Oops realized I meant to write 'drawer' not draw.

Yea, that's pretty sick.

Sometimes they break while being pulled out, sometimes they manage to stay in one piece.
