im not a native speaker and thus i do not have as much statistical information as people living in an english speaking country, on the other hand the proportion of common words in ones vocabulary is usually higher in a second language compared to ones first language i guess.
unfortunately i ended up cursing a lot because i did not understand why the words "why" and "f**k" insisted on not being as common as i thought they were.
The words on this list mean almost nothing by themselves though, thus hardly being a word in the sense I think of.
I was confused why things like sun, wind, animal, house, friend, love, bad, evil, moon, wrong, friend, knowledge, sad, happy etc. were not on the list. Those seem like more essential and common concepts and things than pure grammatical words.
Whatever, my score is embarrassing.
