It seems rather obvious to me.

Everyone wants to have sex. The child is just a bonus.

I'd rather live the life of a man than have sex with a man.

I can say from experience the opposite to be true also

There are also people who want to carry on the legacies of their family names.

The days my children were born were the best days of my life. There are no words to describe the amount of happiness I felt inside when I heard and saw them for the first time. Most parents will understand what I'm talking about but there are some who just aren't into becoming and being a parent.

Why is it a bad thing wanting to have kids?Of course not as it is not bad not wanting to have kids. But the part of killing the kids is another subject matter because even though someone may not want kids that does not mean they have the right to kill it even though they may have the power. The ironic thing is the kid that will be born may even think the same way.

I want to have kids just because the idea of 'creating' a human being in a way is pretty damn interesting. I don't really like children in general, but the idea of having and raising a person from childhood into an adult is pretty cool.

List of stupid reasons
To trick a guy into marriage.
To try & get money from a rich guy.
To try & keep a failing marriage together.
Some women actually like being pregnant & it's a fetish.
To get a bigger welfare check.

I was an accident :( Something like 75% of people don't plan their first child. Many don't plan their 2nd, 3rd...

I don't see how anyone could even think that could work. If anything, a kid would be the final nail in the coffin of a failing marriage.

Umm, societal pressures that that's what you're supposed to do when you grow up.
Tax breaks.
They want to buy all the cute clothes and accessories.
To get attention from their friends.
They wanted a puppy but wanted it to eventually be self-sufficient

Not planning the child doesn't make them an accident. I didn't plan my oldest, but I chose to continue the pregnancy and keep her once she was born. She was a surprise, not an accident.

My youngest was planned, though. He just came earlier than expected.

Actually if the child wasn't planned it is an accident, that's basically what "accidental pregnancy" means.

The pregnancy may have been an accident, but the child resulting is not. It's no accident when you decide to continue the pregnancy and keep the child.
