I definitely like shelties, too. Really, I like most working dogs a lot; some hunting breeds, too.

I did meet a pretty cute and very friendly Pomeranian yesterday while I was out making deliveries for a volunteer organization.

My first fiance had an irish wolfhound cross dingo. She was a crazy weird dog.


My fav breeds are Maremma and Irish Wolfhounds.

I want to get a kishuken puppy, because it is so cute like a living cotton ball

Siberian Huskies are my favorite breed.

own a cavachon and have a soft spot for dobermans and german shephards.

I love German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers.

I love any kind of dog, but Greyhounds are the best

Of course every time I've gone to get a dog, I've ended up with the saddest, most desperate mutt that no one else would take.

Border collie!

It would be easier to name the ones I don't like. I like any dog that is gentle, calm and protective when necessary.

And Welsh Corgis. I think I just like the coats.

Newfoundlands are my favorite. I really like afghan hounds and golden retrievers, too.
Of course, I've never had any of those breeds, but I still love(d) my rottweilers, schipperke, schnauzer-mutt, and pomeranian all the same.

Border collies, alsatians and their crosses are usually great. My old dog was an alsatian-collie cross and was a joy to have around, sadly old age got the better of him and he had to be put to sleep last year. I like boxers, rottweilers and bull terriers too. I'm not generally fond of little dogs - too yappy for me, and - this is a personal opinion, your mileage may vary - I really dislike *most* Jack Russells due to highly strung, jealous and aggressive behaviour. They strike me as a dog with a strong drive to be doing something, so without that kind of stimulation e.g. a job to do, they become a pain in the arse and not really suited to being a house pet - the owner is usually more to blame for an obnoxious Jack Russell than the dog I reckon. There is a lass two streets from me with one and it is AWFUL. She takes it for a quick walk around the block once an hour or so, during which it snaps and barks at everything and everyone in its path while she tries to pretend it isn't doing it.

My current dog is a young male tan/white Staffordshire bull terrier we got as a rescue, he was a bit neurotic at first and had been poorly socialised, but he has a lovely playful nature, is very protective of our younger son, and has settled in well. He thinks he's king of the jungle and tries to dominate every male dog he encounters, but apart from that he's pretty well behaved.

I haven't seen a breed that I didn't like. My dog is a border collie, black lab. mix and he is a sweetheart.
