Yes, frostnip when I was playing softball when I was younger. I was stuck in the outfield in foggy weather with no gloves on and was outside for hours with nothing more to warm my eyes was a cup of hot chocolate at the beginning of the game and it only lasted for about 5 minutes.

I've worked in the cold before enough to where something cold feels hot to the touch. That and your saliva freezing are interesting phenomena Also, I had to sleep in a Tauntaun once.

That's ironic that Brainfre3ze_93 has never dealt with anything freezing.

Well, since I live in Texas freezing temps are rare. * Texans think fifty degrees is too cold , not me by the way  *

temperature was something around -4 f. I had no heater at home. I froze my toes. They are very sensitive to cold now.

YEP, no big deal though, just frost nip as you call it. Ears are the worst, and easiest imo also nose and cheeks

First time was snowmobiling as a teenager . also got it when on a long motorcycle trip when I was going over 100mph for 3 hours in 35* The wind chill effect can get you even when its above freezing.

Where I live it doesn't get much below -20f and thats very rare. We are having a very mild winter so far almost no snow and 50's

Come to think of it I really should move somewhere warmer, I don't like it when it gets below 50 anymore. I'd rather deal with 100+

gadge, i was thinking about how i've never even visited someplace that goes up to 100+! !! i have no idea how i would handle the heat. my city does get up to +30'C/86'F for a few weeks in summer, but it really never goes above 34'C/93'F as the most extreme high temperature. also, it is usually a dry heat so it doesn't feel too bad.

@ hyperlexian, I spent several months out in the desert of So California....camping Army style.
Just think how many people have never seen snow.

When I lived in Tennessee we had snow for a total of 10days in 2yrs. You would of thought it was a blizzard the way everything closed up.

I've had frostnip twice, once when I was a kid in Bulgaria during the worst winter in forty years (that was not a pleasant time) and once a couple of weeks ago in a hail storm walking to and back from work (although it was very cold *at* work too).
