Eat better and exercise.

I don't do new year's resolutions either.
I'd just be setting myself up for disappointment if I did.

I'm going to give up chicken and bacon this year and be completely vegetarian.

My New Year's Resolution would be:

1. Going back to college and take more classes in the major of my choosing as I'm in the graphic design field.
2. Leave my house more often to spend more time with family and friends.
3. Find part-time employment to support myself.
4. Exercise more often to gain muscle and weight as I weigh 130 lbs and look like a twig and want to weigh between 165 to 185 pounds.
5. Learn how to drive a car and get a driver's license.
6. Learn how to control my anger better than in the past.
7. Learn how to let go of things in the past.
8. Cut down time that I am on the internet.
9. Get more sleep so I don't wake up early
10. Stop caring what people think about me and start being myself right now.

In the new year Babybird wants to be more rebelious, throw caution to the wind and get in lots of trouble by doing really bad assignments. :twisted:

I've thought of some but my list is not definite yet. Some of the things that are already on the list:
- work on my self esteem;
- learn to be more open;
- start exercising regularly again;
- read more books;
- reconnect with some people
and some more that are too personal to share.

A few...

- limit my little projects occasional um...area of effect
- Follow through with a few occasions on which I swore vengeance(I'm looking at you producers of coca cola!)
- Eat something equivalent to my own body weight at some point
- Eat something equivalent to someone else's body weight
- Obtain a robe
- crucify Lamar Smith
-Make a bottle of thermite

The list goes on...

Maybe get ahold of this anxious state I've been in for so long. :?
Or schedule that first session to see the therapist.

I'm holding off until I find out if the world is going to end.

Focus more on classes, get enthusiastic about subjects.

Work out most of the summertime.

Cook more, clean better.

Appreciate life more.

Talk to my dad more
Lose weight
Get healthy
Find a job
Get a dog
Read a book a week
Tackle all my "house projects" and then some
Find a therapist I get on with, tackle some issues
Make good grades
Expand my recipe repertoire
Plant and enjoy at least 1 plant for beauty, and at least 1 that bears food, if only a porch tomato planter
Be an awesome girlfriend

In the past year, I've lost 100 lbs, entered a LT-relationship with someone I'd been in love with for 3 years, gone back to school, and learned to cook. I don't want to start resting on my laurels.

What she said.

Who says you have to come up with goals at a specific time of year?

The numberical value of the year changes, it only does once a year! (Yes, I do make to do lists around dates, especially turn of months and similar)

I only make a resolution when the old one's ran out and sometimes that could be around October time. I'm not too strict with when I make them but I do usually stick to them. It's more something of a natural occurrence.
