It depends on the circumstances.

I guess the female equivalent of an as*hole is a b*tch, and I have been called this on a couple of occasions for being an as*hole, if that makes sense. You see, when I'm going about my daily activities, people rarely approach me, and when they do I'm guessing I have this "don't f*** with me" attitude and I respond, sometimes in a not-so-nice way...

I'm very sweet, but a bit of a f**kwit, sometimes. And in my (admittedly tiny) social circle, I have yet to meet anyone who knows anything at all about ASD.

I try not to be a b***h....mostly I am well behaved and leash trained.

However if I made up my mind to be a b***h...I do so with great gusto and enthusiasm.

What is there between as*hole and non-asshole anyway??

I routinely piss-off/infuriate people without having the slightest intention of doing so - does that count?

Same. But now when I realise this is taking place, I simply :| I can't believe this upset me for so much of my life. Now I honestly don't give a damn because it seems that explaining oneself and attempting to make it clear that no harm was intended only leads to escalation. If I just remain calm and act indifferently the moment passes a lot faster and I just earn the title "as*hole".

Oh yeah, I'm an as*hole.

Sometimes when I'm in a professional situation (like a meeting) and I realize this is happening, I will diffuse the situation by calling myself the "designated as*hole". It is actually quite effective...
