I've never really been camping. In a way I think I'd like it but in some ways I think I wouldn't like it.

I'd probably be too hot or cold, I don't like bugs (especially spiders, bees, and mosquitoes), I hate spider webs, I won't sleep on the ground (in a sleeping bag is still the ground), and I'm not going anywhere where there is no indoor plumbing with toilets and hot and cold running water. Also I'd be afraid of the various wildlife. Even the ones I like can be pretty aggressive if they want food from you and I'd want more than a flimsy tent shielding me from them.

I don't care for it that much. I'd rather be at home in my soft bed under my warm, orange covers. Campsites are filled with mosquitoes, skunks, bears and drunken teenagers and party animals.

At home in nature. Camping is more fun if it is done without all the accoutrements. I really think I should have been born two or three hundred years ago.

I love to go camping, and I've gone camping with my dad several times too. It takes me out of the city, and under the stars for a while.

I love camping! I've done most sub- types from backpack to deluxe RV.

I started when I was 12 going to flea markets and antique shows with nothing more than blankets and pillows. A shower was dumping a bucket of water over your head.

I was in the army and went to the field quite a few times, I never did any artic but it did get a little snowy occasionally. I spent months in the deserts of southern California and in the woods of Tennesse and Kentucky. Theres nothing like sleeping out in the desert under the stars away from all the light pollution.

I even went camping for my honeymoon in the finger lakes region in central New York. What beautiful waterfalls, lakes, and quaint small towns. Not to mention the vineyards and wineries. Keep in mind that state parks have wonderful showering accomodations. and flush toilets, just need a flashlight to get to it in the middle of the night.

When my kids came along we'd go camping at amusement parks. We would alternate between with the kids and without. Grownups wanna have fun too ! Our friends would go with. They were a great help.

After my divorice my friends got a large 5th wheel RV. That thing is better than a hotel room ! Full kitchen n bath, HD satelite, even PS3

I still like the tent camping, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking.............. although I haven't been in a few yrs

I LOVE camping. I always look forward to living in a tent for a week. (Not even joking, I love it. :))

Private sites are way better. My family has one in Prineville, and it's amazing!

I don't really like or dislike camping, but my dad and I can afford to travel if we camp instead of getting a hotel room. Hence the yearly two week vacation actually happens, although it's more of living in a car for two weeks and pitching tents for 5 hours at a time to get some sleep.

Didn't go camping until I was in my 20s. Love it. Wish I could do it more often.

Me too, my dad and I tried camping for a week in Colorado, but it got way too cold to try. * in October is when we tried * The very first night it was in the twenties. 8O

In retrospect, yes going in the summer would have been better. We did have a friend in Colorado, and he let us stay in his house instead. :)
