Happy Birthday, Oh magnificent Potentate of Conesism! And the best space pilot I've ever shared an interstellar craft with! Notwithstanding the somewhat illegal state of ownership of aforementioned starship.

Thank you for all the messages :)

Happy Birthday Ten! Got anything planned?

Just went out to eat, and messed about with the cone - that is all.

Where did you go to eat? And was the cone a gift? I have a few traffic cones myself in my back yard. I can't be bothered to send them to Manchester though, it'd cost too much. :P

We didn't go anywhere fancy, just somewhere that did very good food :)
The cone...I don't know actually, it was just waiting for me and is still sitting there downstairs, very happy with the warmth that doesn't exist out of doors.
You own pet cones?! :D
I bet it wouldn't cost as much as me buying them myself - £7 each, pff!

I don't think £7 is all that bad for a cone.

Where did you go to find out the cost by the way? You must be so dedicated!

By the way, MONKEY just asked what got you interested in cones in the first place? Just out of curiosity.

I have 2 cones that I've had for a few years due to some slightly drunken nights out with my brother. One is a rather standard looking orange cone with a black base and the high-vis band around the middle. The other is pretty much the same but dirtier looking and it has a navy blue base and no high-vis band. It probably had one originally though.

I'm pretty sure I used to have another cone as well but my mum made me through it out.

Yeah but if I wanted, say, ten cones, it would cost £70
I've not even seen any cheaper on eBay!

My cone...madness, began right here on WP, at the very bottom of this page...
(And no, that page isn't saved in bookmarks, I actually looked for it :P)

I just saw your birthday message on FB too, rabbitears - I don't check much and didn't think anyone would be on there wishing me a happy birthday, lol

Where would you keep your cones then if you had that many? And how many do you currently have?

(I think I remember that old avatar too. Could you maybe post a picture of it?)

I know you don't check FB much but it showed me it was your birthday and told me to send you a message. I just couldn't refuse. :P

I'm a little surprised more WP folk didn't send you messages on there, although I suppose they all just used this thread for that....
