It's actually spelled 'gesundheit', although your spelling is interesting too :)

I can't think of any alternatives offhand...I actually don't say anything when people sneeze or cough unless I'm worried about them, in which case I simply ask if they're alright.

The spelling with the capital G is the correct German spelling.

I don't want to get personal, so I ignore the sneeze. I long ago trained myself to have no reaction when something startling occurs; I want to give a balanced and rational response, which normally is none at all.

I don't tend to say anything when someone sneezes :?

Unless they sneeze on me... then the response is disgust expressed appropriately the the sneezer in question :|

I don't understand when I'm told things for sneezing though. It actually makes me feel uncomfortable and not want to have to sneeze :?

I actually used to look down and hold my nose and mouth to prevent sound and air from escaping so people would look at me with a confused expression instead of speaking to me :?

Someone would say bless you because they didn't want you to die. So I think it is kinda creepy to say to people bless you. I might as well say hope you don't die.

A little odd maybe, but "I hope you don't die" is still a nice sentiment.

I say "God bless you." it's more habit than anything.

I don't say anything. Maybe if I had tissues or they were handy I'd ask if they wanted one if they had snot all over.

You throw a hand grenade at them.

It's the only safe response.

Saying nothing is neutral and should offend no-one.
