Another junk food that's eaten in Lancashire is parched peas. They're basically peas that are soaked overnight to become a form of mushy pea. They are usually served with salt and vinegar, and are commonly eaten on Bonfire Night. They're very popular around the Preston and Bolton areas.

The less portable (you didn't think I was done with that list, did you?) junk foods I love to attack are:

- fries (deepfried)
- onion rings
- roasted (burned) marshmallows
- banana boats
- mozza sticks
- popcorn with a lot of butter and M&M's
- veggie pizza
- chicken burgers from an evil chain restaurant that shall remain nameless
- old fashioned plain donuts from Timmy's, and the one's with frosting faces and whipped topping
- big white fluffy store-bought cakes and cupcakes
- Dairy Queen ice cream cake
- chocolate balls (no jokes!)
- lemon creme cookies

This list is not complete but I must stop; I'm almost drooling.

Where do I start? I have many favourite junk foods (my mouth waters already):

 Pizza - this is a staple food in the life of Fiona - must have it again soon
 Burgers - particularly anything with the word 'double' in it and plenty of cheese
 BMT Subway sandwiches
 Chips/fries
 Crisps
 Chocolate
 Ice cream - I have to really feel like eating this though
 Pies - particularly steak and kidney or cheese and onion (Pukka or Fray Bentos pies are yuuuuuummmy!! !!)
 Sandwiches that are deeply filled with fattening fillings
 Fry ups that consist of sausages, eggs, bacon, fried mushrooms, toast, beans, black pudding and, for a slightly Scottish twist, some haggis (gorgeous stuff this is)
 Mousses
 Black forest gateau and double chocolate gateau
 Cakes in general so long as its not fruit cake, can't stand it. It tastes rank and looks like a bowl full of dead flies. Nothing with jam or marmalade either.
 Caramel shortbreads
 Pasties
 Coca-cola (although I have really cut back on this since the osteoporosis article)
 Milkshakes
 Onion rings (you can tell I'm writing what I am thinking of next as they are in no particular order)
 Potato wedges, especially if there is sour cream and chives dip to accompany them
 Bassett's Fruit Salad chews
 Hot dogs - the bigger the better, with mustard, ketchup and onions
 Cheese on toast with hot dogs and beans poured all over it (sounds rank but its gorgeous)
 Buns that contain lots of cream and chocolate such as profiteroles or eclairs
 Donuts (round ones, ring ones, Bavarian - the favourite, custard filled, suger topped, chocolate coated....)
 Them crisps you get in pubs - Scampi fries
 Meatballs

There could be so so much more but they are not coming to me right now, but hey I'm a foodoholic anyway :P :P :P :P :P as my mouth waters and I now feel really hungry

1. Potato chips! (my absolute favorite being Lay's; this also includes everything related to potato chips from the FritoLay company, such as Doritos, Sunchips, Cheetos, etc., the only thing I don't like from them are plain kettle chips. I also like nachos.)
2. Hickory Farms Melt Away Mints
3. Hershey's Cookies and Cream bar (as well as anything else that Hershey makes except for Almond Joy, the similar thing to almond joy, and Rollos; also any kind of plain white chocolate.)
4. Goldfish crackers
5. Cheez-its
6. Wheat Thins
7. Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Cream, and Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream
8. Gummy worms
9. M&Ms
10. Dots

I loved Subway, because you could choose what you wanted. Sadly the shop has closed. :(

When at home and having no time i like things you can create in some seconds in a mixer. Yo Yoghurt, whole Banana, Honey, Nuts: 30 seconds mixing - ready. :)

i thought chocolate-covered twinkies were food of the gods, the last time i had one ages ago. they were better than hohos. other than that, friend onion rings are great. so are pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts.

I enjoy popcorn (I get the diet type) with a Mountain Dew or other cola in the evening while I watch TV.
