You are very likely an Aspie
It sounds more specifically like a panic attack.
Everyone gets anxiety, and I imagine that everyone has had panic attacks before in their life... but not everyone gets either just randomly.
Anxiety and panic attacks are a complex issue that can be difficult to deal with. The better you get at keeping yourself calm (in otherwords, not letting the thought of the stress manage to stress you out even more) and just let it roll through and if you problem actually is panic attacks, the more your symptoms will ease and become less frequent.
The brain learns how to have anxiety issues and panic attacks, the more that it gets the opportunity to do it the more it gets in the habit of making that happen more and gets better at triggering anxiety and panic attacks over less relevant things.
I imagine that people with issues such as ADHD, OCD, and ASD that it is probably very common for many of us to go through full on Panic Attacks since our conditions set us up to be anxious about things that others don't have to deal with therefor giving our brains that head start at being good at being anxious .
For me 2 things helped: Zen Buddhism (not full on belief of all of it, just understanding some of the principals of letting go and things), and not being afraid of death and then assessing stessors as "can this kill me... if not, then I will just wait for it to stop attacking me and then recover later as best as I can"
I hope that helps

Anxiety manifesting in part as IBS. I'm surprised you haven't been able to find it. It's quite common.

I'm not likely to be around much longer. As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already. So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...
As a former psych student, I am knowledgeable about this,
Anxiety. More specifically, its a Panic Attack, which can even resemble a heart attack in some..
I have had a couple myself. Very scary, but they do pass.
If your having a lot, examine your surroundings, etc. something might be a trigger..
Sincerely,
Matthew
