The name Niniel is from The Silmarillion.

I first chose the name when I joined a Lord of The Rings forum about 10 years ago, I have mostly stuck with it ever since.

have posted in one of these a while ago but people join often enough and is interesting to see new and colourful pseudonyms :)
fudo initially came to me as just my surname in romaji but thanks to the often bizarre ambiguity of language Fudo is also Fudo Myoo literally "the immovable king of wisdom/wisdom king" and means quite a few other things too...
So now I tend to assume the Avatar of Fudo and vice versa, so to speak.

The Stranglers album called Feline. One of my favourites I have used this in other forums too.

Not just a cat or because I just like cats :D

I am an aspie and an otaku hence the name AspieOtaku. In case folks do not know what an Otaku is Otaku is Japanese for nerd. In the west it is Anime nerd. And here is a place where fellow Otaku like myself enjoy attending. It kind of makes me wonder how many other Otakus are Aspies as well. And the NTs that are Otaku are cool to hang with. :) Most of my NT friends are Otaku as well.

I am a Latin and Ancient Greek geek, and it begins with "d" which all of my internet profiles start with.

A "piroflip" is an aerobatic jig performed with a radio controlled helicopter.

Anyway, for those who don't know, it was because I couldn't think of a name and there was a ten pence piece on the desk...Imaginitive, isn't it ;)

i like it because we call it a "dime" here, so it's a reminder of your location. it's cool

My username refers to how society tends to view us, but also how I view society :)

Think of a robotic dog, techno dancing in front of you.

Signed up quickly, so couldn't be bothered trying to come up with a clever or interesting name. So I opted for my own first name, which was taken so added an extra "n". How clever of me!

Thanks hyper :) think you might've said that last time, though my memory gets confused if I've done something more than once.. Kinda
Also I posted about Fudo ages ago in the "quite interesting" thread, not that big but it's bigger than wiki's offering.

Still looking at me that way too ;) hehe your eyes always draw me in, in the loveliest way of course..
ahem anyways...

When I first joined WP, I was here purely for help/advice about my daughter. Obsessing over the matter, as usual, all I had in mind was her and my relationship to her. 'Peanut' comes from my first pregnany scan, where she looked just like one.

I often wonder what impression my username makes, if any.

Not an impression per se, but I used to wonder if you're someone else I know online who calls her son Peanut. I soon realised you weren't.
