Some weird things I remember from my childhood

*Digging through the trash at elementary school looking for food

*When I was 5 years old I went house hopping around the neighborhood, and then I went to the park and told a stranger that my parents were dead, and then the police showed up, found me, but were worried about returning me to my parents because they thought it might not be safe.(I still don't know why I did this)

*I remember hanging out with this boy. He was quiet and reserved like me and he liked Earthworm Jim. I also remember the day he moved, and that sucked because I felt like I had things in common with him. Now, looking back I'm thinking he may have been an aspie.

*When I was about 5 years old I got a magazine that came with a bunch of stickers. I put them all over my body.

*I remember a girl telling me I could suck nectar out of these honeysuckle flowers which grew in the neighborhood. She told me that sometimes ants get in and they taste spicy. I tried it, and she was right.

*I remember loving to feel those lines/marks you get sometimes from clothing that was pressed on the skin. I was feeling them from my sock one day in class, and a girl saw what I was doing and told on the teacher. She really had no idea what I was doing :? but it made me mad. :x

Some other memories I have were from summer clubs that I often went to

*I remember one time I was playing with some kids and we had run into a neighborhood. The street was being repaved with tar, but we didn't realize it. I slipped and fell, and my sneakers were ruined. It was disappointing because they were my favorite shoes.

*Another time a kid at camp told me that if I stuck two of my fingers to my temples and looked at my stuffed animals, they would come to life. I tried it and it didn't work. :? Now, when I think back I wonder if this kid did this because he realized I'd believe him, or he was just as weird as me.

What can I say? My childhood had some bizarre moments, and I was a really naive strange kid. Thinking of my childhood, it seems pretty surreal.

I don't remember much from my childhood, but my earliest memory was of me choking on a black marble with a yellow stripe on it. I think I still have the accursed thing!

When I was a little girl, I was forced to see the movie "Who framed Roger Rabbit?" with my sister and my cousins, my sister and I were bored.

I can remember hating my childhood piano lessons, being shoved palms-first into a patch of stinging nettles, and crying incessantly on my second day of school (and not letting my mother leave me) when I realised that it was going to be a regular occurrence.

I remember being obsessed with a person who had a gatling gun for an arm. Until I found out about the person with long silver hair, glowing green eyes, and really a long katana.

Wow, I remember quite a few strange things from my childhood. It's really strange I can remember these:

Earliest memory I can remember was from when I was about 1 year old: I can remember pointing to a petrol station and getting the attention of my aunt by shouting 'Ner Ner Ner'. She also repeated the noise I made.

Early childhood: Being frightened of ladybirds and washing machines.

Early childhood: Being in nursery school, and wondering why all the other kids were playing with each other and I wasn't. I also remember having 80s pop music stuck in my head at the time.

4 years old: At 6 in the morning, me and my younger brother went outside in our pyjamas. I think I dragged him in his cart-buggy thing about a mile away from home. He somehow disappeared, and I ran home and told my mum that my brother was lost 'under a bridge'. She thought the worst, and thought I was talking about the canal bridge opposite our house at the time. She phoned the police, and, luckily, an old man found my younger brother.

6 years old: Getting a Commodore 64 for Christmas, and the first game I played was Chase HQ.

6 years old: Accidentally knocking a large glass bottle out of the window. My dad was pissed off, and got a bin bag and put my beloved C64 and games into the bin. He didn't really mean it, though, and I got my C64 back the next day.

4 years old: Being shown around a special school after I was diagnosed. I made friends with another boy, who I think may have also been aspie. I was at that school for about 3 or 4 years before they said I could cope with 'normal' school.

7 years old: My last day at special school. For the past few weeks they had been trialling me at a 'normal' school to see how I would cope, and I coped well enough. On my last day of special school, we had a mini party to celebrate my leaving, and I remember getting a Disney slide viewer. :)

7 years old: I think I was once sick in school, and I think I may have puked up. My support teacher took me to her house, as my parents were both at work.
