I'm working on getting over my silly fear. There were a bunch of stoners who were on the same school bus as me. They picked on the kids who went to my school. They went to an Alternitave School. They were kicked off my bus, after two years, when I was in Grade 7.

I used to be very frightened of water, both water coming out of the shower as water in a swimming pool.
Now I'm frightened of fear it self.

I don't really have any phobias, I used when I was little like crowds, being touched by anyone else except my mum etc. I've grown out of them.

Dogs and telephones are the big two. Cats I used to have a problem with, but having to be around one every day sorts that out eventually. I even take it upon myself to feed her prawns, which she devours hungrily.

polystyrene! I forgot about that until I had to open a box with it in today. It's the feel of it and the horrible squeaky noise it makes when it rubs against something.

And there's a microscoping picture of a metal fracture in my physics textbook that made me retch. I had to cover it with post-it notes and sellotape.

I feel nauseous just thinking about it.
