I can't run when it's humid outside.

It's hot again and will be for a long time and I can't stand it. It makes me sick and I feel like I'm going to snap and do something crazy.

Once its mid Sep I will be going crazy because it will be FALL and it will be nice and brisk and just downright pleasant weather. Where can you find weather in summer that rarely gets above 70?

The forecast high today here was 104. However, when we were in downtown Tuscaloosa today, around 1pm, it was 111. It's down to about 101 here locally now.

That was the bank sign that said the temperature. It measures the temperature outside the building. It's not an "official reporting station" so 111 won't go on the news anywhere. It's always hotter than what they say on TV. They only go by their official places.

It's just gonna get hotter before the summer is over with.

Well you could try the UK, maybe we stole all your rain...we're getting one months worth of rain in one day in parts of the UK at the moment.

I'm not a fan of the heat and humidtity either...

It's very hot and humid here, with a good chance of alliterations. I went to a theme park today, and my throat now hurts because of the humid air blown into my face and mouth while in rollercoasters. Heat by itself isn't much of a problem for me - when the air is dry, I can easily stand temperatures fluctuating between 5 and 35-40 degrees Celsius while wearing the same set of clothes. However, the humidity tends to hamper my breathing and make my skin and clothes damp, meaning they both stick in an uncomfortable way to everything they touch. Sleeping isn't fun when your back starts sticking to the bed. Can't we just drain the world's oceans and store them on the moon?

Its disgusting here and thusly I am miserable. I am doubly miserable because we got short changed on winter this year and spring started so EARLY. I miss you winter snow storms and have fond memories of what were once crisp cool Halloweens.

Because we didn't have a cold winter, none of the bugs got killed off. That means mosquitoes will be terrible this year. Also fleas for dogs. I also haven't ever seen as many ticks as I have this year.

Yes, I wanted to go for a run today, but it is like stepping into an oven. It is almost like you can feel each molecule of air without any discernible wind.

I wait til its night time because of this. I stepped outside once and it was really weird, we have a ton of trees and shade so at first I noticed how sweet the air was, it smelled REALLY good..then I stopped out of the shade and felt like I was cooking in an oven. Its going to be 107 tomorrow.

Would you rather be in 100 plus temp with high humidity for a week? Or rain and gloom for a whole week with temps maybe in the 50s or 60s? I take the rain all week.

This is a problem in our area.

I did hear the strong winds and rain and in our neighborhood just a lot of leaves and branches fell. I went onto a major highway and some street lights are still down. Silver Diner and IHOP were both packed.

It's getting hot where I live. It's disgusting! My seizures are sometimes triggered by heat.

It's been around the 100s here & it feels 10+ hotter because of the very high humidity we almost always have. It is usually very hot here but we've been breaking some records. I want people who don't believe in global warming to explain why we're breaking heat records
