NASCAR driver Dick Trickle.

For real, that's his name. I forget which car he drives though.

You'd think he'd ask people to call him Rich Trickle.

Along those lines, there's a player for the New York Jets named D'Brickashaw Ferguson. I always think, how could a mother see her newborn boy and decide to name him D'Brickashaw?

It seems to be a variant spelling of some fictional character's name. I read about Beyonce Knowles' biography on Wikipedia and learned that she was named after her mother's maiden name, Beyincé, which is French.

I noticed that some people like to bastardize spellings of legitimate French or other foreign names, I guess to make themselves seem cultured.

He is retired, and was also known for never winning a race in the main circuit. And drove #90 amongst other numbers.

Then there is Mike Hunt, a NFL linebacker from the late 70's: http://www.nfl.com/player/mikehunt/2517068/profile

Then there is a sports writer for the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel with the same name, but smartly goes by Michael.

Some woman on a radio talk show claimed that her niece was named "Sh*thead" (pronounced "sha-TEED"). 8O

I kid you not, I was at a brass band Christmas concert once, and there was a picture of some guy whose name was Harry Kok.

She may have a very strange name, but she's one of the few famous people to come from Idaho, so I respect her. :)

Don't forget Dewey Cox, or his life story "Walk Hard"

I had a neighbor from Sweden who had a British friend. Whenever we went camping the 2 would at some point look at each other and say "how's yer John Thomas?" I already knew the term from a Beatles book but I didn't "get" the humor in it. BTW I know how they got 'Willy" but what's the deal with JT? SMH
