so speaks the crazy blind hobo named bill who sleeps in a cardboard box on elmer street. how could we not forget his other prediction: cats will overrun the government and force us all to eat nothing but fish.

My sources say it will be sea urchins.

It should only snow in December. I don't want it, in November and I certainly don't want it in January.

I wish I had as much choice in the matter as you.

KBABZ, it's the same thing here. Victoria gets snow about once or twice every other year for about 30 minutes to an hour. We're right at sea-level-ish, very marine air. Rarely sticks and when it does, it rarely accumulates more than 5cm or so. There was one big snowstorm in '96 that did quite a bit of damage but nothing like that since, really.

It slacked off around 6, but it's picked back up some. Not the same intensity as this morning though, which kinda sucks... we were hoping for a no-work/no-school day. Maybe I should try getting mad at it again. We'll see how that goes.

update: Getting mad at it again worked! Schools across the Island are closed and the buses weren't running as of this morning (and there's not a chance in hell of our car getting out the driveway anyhow) so yay! I hereby proclaim myself to be the resident kami of snow. I think calling myself a god would be a bit presumptuous, so kami'll do.
