I have ophidiophobia, which is the fear of a certain kind of reptile. I have gotten a bit better with it as I used to have a full-blown panic attack at the sight of one on television or in a picture (a lot of them could have been avoided, if a certain person would just change the channel when I asked them to ). They still make me uncomfortable, but I don't have panic attacks anymore.
I'm not too fond of heights either. It's not the actual height that scares me, it's the chance that I might fall from the height that does.
