Yes! Its the perfect white noise for me and I even have one on in Winter. I can't listen to music when I am in bed becasue it gives me bad dreams. :? I have no idea why. But the fan helps me fall asleep quickly.

i can't listen to music if i wanna sleep, 'cause i'd be boppin' along to the beat and that would keep me awake.

Don't you mean aerator for #2? If you're gonna correct someone else's spelling the least you can do is spell it right yourself! :lol:

The whole nation of South Korea refuses to sleep with their fans on. In fact korean electric fans are build with automaticly timed shut off mechanisms. This is because of the local belief that fans will blow the oxegen out of the room and sufficate you!

Its the only country on earth with that phenomenon.

correcting the spelling, one of my things. My kindle was acting up, so no. 2 should he aerator.

I always have a fan on. I guess living in Phoenix requires fans and air conditioning on. My night requires my air conditiong on, my ceiling fan on and my desktop fan pointed directly at my head. It may be overkill but it is the only way I can get a good night sleep.

I sleep with a ceiling fan on every night (to compensate for the heavy quilt I sleep under). It doesn't really make any noise though, so I leave the tv on as well.

I only have the fan on if it is a warm sticky night but if its cool the i don't have the fan on.

During the summer i run the fan overnight, only for the temperature though, i need "coherent" noise to sleep. I sleep with the TV on every night. My mind is always in overdrive so if i dont have some kind of focusable noise i cant sleep. If the power fails overnight, i wake up almost immediately. If there is no noise, my mind cant tell if im awake or asleep and wakes me up.

I always leave my computer on because of the fan noise. I recently discovered 8 hour long clips of rainfall sounds on youtube so those are my new sleepy sounds.
