I do not like vacuum cleaners. My Dad has one that sounds like a jet engine. My rage is often unleashed when he is using it. :evil:

I like them. I live in home w/hardwood floors, so I don't use the 'traditional' model much now.

I used to have a collection of Electrolux vacs, eight or ten of them, but my dear wife got tired of them taking up space in our cottage. Now I use a vita-vac, a great machine that, alas, is no longer being made.It is very well made and designed.

Ahhhhh vacuum cleanersa. One of my earliest interests. I knew everything about them. I fixed them and took them apart. Now I do the same with cars and computers. Mechanic by day, computer technician by night.

REally do not like them make a horrible sound most of the time. I really think they are too loud.

(clicky)the comedian/pipe organist stan kahn maintained a collection of over 150 vintage vacuum cleaners

i wonder if he was an aspie as well? when he was a child, he would walk by somebody's house and if he heard a vacuum cleaner he wasn't familiar with [he could ID each model by the sound it made] he would knock on the door and ask the homeowner if he could see their vacuum cleaner. :o

I think they are alright however a bit too noisy for my liking though.

Yeah ! ! I worked as a custodian once. I myself have a really expensive Dyson, it's amazing.

i love them, they keep the house clean.
