I finished yesterday Sold: Story of modern-day slavery by Zana Muhsen and Andrew Crofts. Now I'm reading a Finnish book about Parkinson's disease, written by a neurologist who has Parkinson's himself.

The Dutch novel Lily, by Marian Donner, which is about a hooker with a heart of gold. 8)
