OK Where is Yemen?

I think I'd better make it abundantly clear I'm only playing around and NOT to be taken seriously when making my smilies or [/disclaimers].

It's because of this is the middle of nowhere. Actually, this is about 50 miles past the middle of nowhere. It's a very small town, most people in Alabama only hear of us during tornado's, so why would anybody pick here? I'm only suspicious because of all the stuff that's been happening on the news and stuff and it just makes me wonder. They live in the store in the back, they don't know anybody here and from what my son said they don't even have relatives in the state, so why here? I'm not worried that anything would happen here, even if they were up to something we don't have anything worth blowing up. I do not want to be like some of the people around here and be automatically suspicious because of where they are from and their religion because I believe that most Muslims aren't anything at all like the fanatics but maybe it's just a vibe I get or something. I don't know.

And, like somebody said if he's selling liquor he's not real devout in his religion. He's also got BBQ there too, which a local boy cooks and so he's not against pork either. So I don't know. I don't want to think that everybodys a terrorist or anything, it's just there is so much stuff on the news that it made me a little cautious. If this were one of the cities, I wouldn't think twice. It's just that nobody moves here. People from Alabama don't even move here. This is the place you move away from.

And no, I don't take anybodys jokes about the town seriously, I don't much care for it here myself except that there is pretty much no crime to speak of.

Are they definitely Muslim?

There are tiny communities of Jews and Bahai's all over the Mideast, all of whom are being victimized; either being forced to leave, or the subject of attempts to force them to become Muslims.

I still think that their choice of where to live pertains to what they are trying to get away from, rather than thinking that this little town is the perfect place to live.

If you Google 'LiveLeaks' and look for 'Crucifixion Of Spy In Yemen', it may give an idea of why people are so very desperate to leave, and also why a family might look for a town with no Muslim presence in it.
