None, because they are noisy, have lots of people, and are crowded. They are my worst nightmare.

Washington D.C. for the museums
N.Y.C. for the shopping
Philadelphia for the history

London is my favorite city. I love the parks, free museums & galleries and street markets in different areas.
It was voted the second unfriendliest city in the world (TripAdvisor 2012 Cities Survey) but I haven't really noticed it.
People seem polite enough, and that's good enough for me. I don't care for over-friendly people anyway.

London. Vintage London that is.

It looks like there are four people who list London as their favorite. That makes me happy.

Duh, L.A. for me. :D

Me too! I always wished to live there, considering I love big cities.
Also, I do like San Francisco and Tokyo, the latter because I think it's a great place for those collecting Japanese toys and video games, esp. the district of Akihabara (also in Tokyo).

I live in the suburbs of Glasgow and I have to say I do love it. There are loads of museums, all free and with plenty for kids to get into. There's great night life (restaurants, theatre and comedy clubs), if you want them. It's truly cosmopolitan these days. And it's not called 'the dear green place' for nothing.

I only know one city personally so I guess it would have to be my favourite. It's my top 1 on a list of 1 city I've been to: Toronto.

I want to visit Tokyo and New Orleans though. Two completely different places that interest me. I can't call them favourites because I've never been to either of them.

I would have to say Cleveland, Ohio. I live about 20 minutes away from there and I think it is one of the best cities I've been to. I've been to the zoo there countless times (I even used to work near there), and I once went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is an awesome experience.

I was going to mention Barcelona as well though I've never been there. Sounds/looks like a beautiful/nice place. Is it very expensive there?

If you want to visit it as a tourist it's expensive but not prohibitive, there are a bunch of affordable hotels and pensions in the downtown and there are restaurants and bars where you can eat a cheap menu :-) The subway is expensive, though.

You can compare prices here

New Orleans all the way...there's nothing like the Saints, Mardi Gras, muffalettos, and beignets to brighten one's day down there. :)

My favorite city would have to be my home town. I don't want to name it but it's small and cozy.

I haven't been to all big cities but I think I would love Paris.

I liked L.A., New York city, and Toronto, but there is no place like home.
