Gulfport, MS

I went through the storm and didn't lose my house but most everyone I know lost everything. We're all still recovering down here.

She's a Golden Retriever. Turns 3 in March. :D She's really friendly, and really sensitive.
Her left foot is a bit red because she keeps chewing on it. :(

This is a Costa Rican zebra tarantula, right? Same as Teoti (mine - the blue tinge to the pic is part lighting, part editing...)!
And Starbuline's Rory, apparently!

They're wonderful spiders, very docile - just don't startle them, eh guys? They're quick little things! And man, can they kick those urticating hairs... (btw, never rub your eyes after handling - I learned that a few months ago)

Actually I always believed it to be a Chilean Rose tarantula. The rose colouring on the upper body pretty much gives it away. The Costa Rican Zebra you mentioned is usually much darker with yellow lines on the legs. The two breeds are almost identical in size and behavior, however.

I like spiders because they are quiet, laid-back, and clean, quite unlike my other pet:

(Again sorry for the huge pic I haven't had time to resize them all.)

Here's my girl. Siesta is a dilute calico Ragamuffin mixed with Siamese.

Image

She has the Ragamuffin behaviors and temperment, but talks like a Siamese.
