Not sure if you are laughing at me, or with me, but its my very first Irulan response, and I'll take it. :P

Bahahahahaha!

No, seriously. I'm pretty sure the Catholic Church would not have given its stamp of approval on Fatima if it were an alien appearance. And as someone who has a devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, I'll believe the Church over what a few wacked-out morons claim any day.

You should seriously start a new religion - I think in the USA anything is possible :D You should tell your worshippers that they should give all their money to you, for life other than poor is sinful - thinking about money takes your thoughts away from God  But you love people so much that you risk a sin in this way, taking their money which should be safe with you, on your bank account, for in this way they won't have access to it to spend it on some shallow things

DarkRain, so how are you going to explain this? There are proofs there's something fishy going on about this.

But what if I spend it on shallow things? I always wanted to buy a old castle and fix it up. Maybe hire some Vikings to attack it once in a while for excitement.

I guess I would prefer financing it on an international gambling empire. That way I don't feel so bad taking their money. Or maybe if the Aliens do show up, I can sell the gamblers to them for a tidy profit. Nothing diabolical like for experiments, but as pets or maybe for zoos. Politicians I would sell for experiments though.

Old bump!

Most apparitions throughout history were witnessed by a single person or in the case of Fatima, a few people originally. What makes Fatima unique is that in a subsequent apparition, THOUSANDS of people, religious, secular and atheist witnessed the sun behaving in ways it never had before and never has since and it was witnessed by that many people at the same event and at the same time. It gained worldwide attention at the time with secular newspapers and news organizations reporting on the event.

Alien? Who knows. The Ojibwe peoples of North America, if I recall correctly from taking a Native American studies course in college traced their origin back to some alien-like creatures.

My memory served to be mostly correct. This is from Wiki:

"According to Ojibwe oral history, seven great miigis (radiant/iridescent) beings appeared to them in the Waabanakiing (Land of the Dawn, i.e., Eastern Land) to teach them the mide way of life. One of the seven great miigis beings was too spiritually powerful and killed the people in the Waabanakiing when they were in its presence. The six great miigis beings remained to teach, while the one returned into the ocean. The six great miigis beings established doodem (clans) for people in the east, symbolized by animal, fish or bird species. "

Did you ever come across the theory that what the kids in Fatima saw, was actually aliens from another planet, trying to deliver us some message, which got misinterpreted? ... What do you think?
I think that whoever came up with this needs to have his or her oxygen perfusion level checked.

(I know that this is an old thread, but crackpot "theories" like this one need to be addressed.)
