I've been accused of being a know it all, I've been accused of knowing nothing <even after I had PROVEN I knew more about person who accused me's speciality, life work etc.>

I KNOW I know a lot, I also know I know no fragment of what there is to know, that's why learning is so much fun, there is alway smore of it to do, I mean, today I started researching architecture, the material in wikipedia related to the subject alone will last me a fairly decent period of time, and that's not even a fragment of architecture, then I have to find books, fact check wikipedia and build my base of knowledge, and that's between trying to keep up with everything else <have you ever seen all the amazing things you can do with a wood lathe?>

Those who think they know it all really annoy those of us who do...

Me too. Just because I know facts. People hate that, I guess.

It's actually pretty funny, because I say relevant facts in a deadpan tone that for some reason, makes everyone crack up. I personally find their ignorance and reliance on my superior brainpower very amusing, so I have taken up the practice of saying completely relevant facts that I have made up on the spot. For instance, I just recently told a popular girl that the monarchy is still alive and well in France, and that their national animal is the beaver. She believed me implicitly, to my amusement, and used that interesting little tidbit in an essay for history class.

Yeppers. And I think the same people have turned around later and say that I don't know anything.

Sometimes. Other times I've been accused of being a bit dim. But who cares?

Me. On more occasions than I could count.

It has its advantages... In college, there was a Team Trivial Pursuit Tournament, teams of four. I received several invitations to be part of one or another team.

(Yes, I was on the winning team.)
