Steven doesn't just write horror. The Dark Tower is more Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Western


I can also name The Running Man, Rage and The Green Mile as non-horror novels, though they have horrific elements at times, usually through normal human violence.

Loved the Gunslinger series.First read it while sleeping in abandoned houses and it made a very unpleasant reality receed for hours.I "out grew" Steven King.....I thought...but this is a great read and I just finished "cell" and didnt think it was to bad.
