I'm happy when I'm so engrossed in a good book that I forget the time, the world and the past.
I'm happy listening or playing Bach.
I'm happy when I have money in my pocket and a place to go.
I was happy yesterday -- snow outside, hot tea and honey inside, and no where to go.
Sleep rules! especially when it's cold outside, the heat is blasting inside, and my bed is warm and comfy.

I remember playing with Gopher. I would throw a little rubber ball across the room and he would bat it around for several minutes and it would eventually get batted back to me. He's gone now.

I feel happy when I soak in warm water with nice aromatic bath salt sprinkled in it. I could also do some exercises in the warm water which helps build muscles and burn calories! I like water...there's something very therapeutic about it..and it quenches thirst...It's like the source of life...like mother earth...mother water... :)

I'm sorry to hear that. Gopher sounds like a nice cat. I don't know how I'll cope with it when my cats are gone..

I feel happy when I am walking...I love the activity called walking...I appreciate it very much...I usually wear comfortable shoes, so I can walk for a long time without discomfort...In summer, I could walk like 200 blocks at a time...walking over 50 blocks would be a casual thing for me...

Same for me, just add in my MP3 player and that's what I do when I need to think.

And since my hometown isn't too big it's got lot's of big parks.

Fishing is even better - turn up the music nice and loud and sit in boat while the waves move it back and forth for a few hours. Maybe hook a fish and reel it in - then take it's picture and let it be on it's way.

Russian would be an interesting language to learn. My happiness occurs when I am reading, when learning, with friends, when interesting thoughts are in my mind....

I like this thread, it's a 'feel good' thread. Cheers me up just reading it.
Yes, organizing and cleaning. I enjoy that too. I sometimes leave it for a while, usually because I'm busy, and it gets really untidy, then I love the feeling of putting everything where it should go, creating a feeling of order after the chaos. :)

*giggle* I can relate to that very much...Same with doing the dishes or doing the laundry. I feel like I am participating in the process of rebirth or cleansing/purification ritual...:D Of course I'm not very diligent in doing them...but when I do them I enjoy the process...
