All I really want to do is post a large picture of someone's head exploding, so I'll do it:

I dislike fillers of any kind, such as "um," "uh," "er," "and," "but," "anyway(s)," "basically," or imprecise words such as "things" or "stuff." (I have been guilty of using the last two. It drives me crazy when I can't think of the precise word I need.)

"it's like", "sort of", "kind of".

I hate these. What the person invariably means is that "it is". It's not like it, it is it.
The more stupid the person they more they will use these. Literally.

Not always. Sometimes it's a qualification which reduces the force.

Well, yes, but usually this is a way of people stating something but either don't know their facts or are unsure of themselves (or want to defer to someone else in the conversation). People should either state that that are unsure of their ground or, if they are sure of what they are talking about, stand their ground.

Every day I encounter, "sort of like...". Bloody Hell, just spit it out. If you're talking crap I'll call you on it, so at least tell me what you're on about without using up far more words than is reasonable.

You should of said, metaphorically speaking. My head exploded.
