Lau apologises to RedMage for getting her gender wrong, temporarily, and hopes she was not too disturbed to be addressed bizarrely as a "he" temporarily.
He hopes the cold gets better soon.
In fact, maybe it was the missing "s" that was curing / has cured the cold?

Evil is not only judged by effects. Psot's intention is not good.
