I called her Oma because she was Dutch and it's used in both Dutch and German languages as grandma.

Only my sister and I called her Nan/Nanny. All the other kids called her grandma. It was kinda cool to find out later in life that she preferred Nan as opposed to grandma!

I only had one grandmother, and I called her Granny. If my Dad's Mum had been alive I would have called her Abuela, which is Spanish for Grandmother.

I called my Mum's Mum Nanna and my Dad's Mum Gran. I still do, they're not dead. And probably won't be for at least another 20 years or so. So it should be "What DO", not "What DID".

I had a Nana (dad's side), a Grandmom (mom's side), a Granny (great-grandmother, mom's side [her dad's mom]),and a Great-Grandmother (great-grandmother, dad's side [his mom's mom])

The only one left is my Grandmom.
