I still have a Tamagotchi. :D I also had a black Furbie, and I accidently dropped it into the tiolet and it started making weird noises, and it would turn off, so I had to throw it really hard on the floor to stop it.

lol How did you drop a Furbie in the toilet?!
I think I had a grey one and a black one, I can't remember now
My Tamagotchi started beeping once in college because I hadn't fed it... which is embarrassing - I don't think many 17 year olds still have Tamagotchis

I took the damn thing everywhere with me and I was brushing my hair and put it on the counter and I accidently hit it and it fell. :D

Some British memories from the 1990s:

*SMTV Live and CD:UK
*The Pokemon song on SMTV
*Acorn Computers and RISC OS!
*The Shakey Jake advert (Wibble Wobble Yum Yum)
*Tazos (like POGs, but made of plastic, and came with Walkers Crisps)
*Live and Kicking
*Harry Enfield appearing on nearly every advert

Ah, the 90s. Good times. I remember playing on my Sega Master System and Mega Drive (that's a Genesis for all you non-UK peeps :)) all the time, and kicking much arse on Streets Of Rage 2.

I remember when the first Austin Powers movie made its debut, ten years ago, in 1997. I was exactly like Austin Powers, in those days. :P

1991: Persian Gulf War! I'm um...8...I guess. I secretly wondered in Iraq was going to bomb American cities (thinking of World War II I saw on TV). Would it have killed the teachers to tell me that Iraq didn't have the long-range bomber capabilities of the Soviet Union?

Me too! I certainly remember the 90s; that's when my real childhood started, because I weas really oblivious to the world in the 80s. I was born at the very end of 1979, so technically I grew up in the 80s but I don't care to remember any of it. I didn't watch much TV, and when I did I never picked the show. I didn't have any friends to do cool stuff with and I didn't know what cool toys to ask my parents for. If I had asked them for the toys, it would only have been because I had hoped other kids would see me with them and would think I was cool and stop being so mean to me. I was autistic. :?

I "woke up" somewhat during the 90s, so I do remember most of the things on that list. Some of them were just a little bit too young for me though, like the Power Rangers. I had a friend whose little brother watched that.

Guys, is that possible? Is it possible to actually be less autistic than you once were? I'm not saying, you know, I'm cured, but things are definitely different, and it's not just from growing up.

Woah I can't believe how much of that stuff applied to me. I was born in 1990, so my childhood was in those years. Thanks for posting this, it was nice to laugh.. :D
