I had a private teacher when I was 6. Then I learnt the elementaries until grade 3 in school. After that I started visiting sites in English and when my English was at a reasonable degree, I started reading English books.

Oz is my first language too, i.e., mate, that sheela in yor avatar is a real goer…mate. I'm unsure if there's an Aussie standard though...I speak a West-side based suburban-country dialect; which is completely different to the South-side based suburban dialect...this is all in the same city too! :)

Cross border communication is completely impossible...even to the NT.

I speak English from South (east) England .... though there's a little bit of a London accent creeping in.

I drift around the NW outskirts of Brisbane…they kicked me out. My ma named me "Daniel", I like it too (mainly because she named me); too bad the Hebrew meaning is lost on me.
