I've tried the test again. I'm 41 and I got 14.

Wait, I was supposed to take that test on that web-site, wasn't I. Gave me a meager 42. I should be closer to 880! Or maybe 4, like I said earlier but, you know, this test is far too over-simplified, designed more for entertainment.

my mental age is 35 with these answers............

Q: I have my principles
A: false. i do not have a set of core beliefs. i always see the situation as fresh and unrelated to tenets.

Q: I don't want to think about complicated things
A: true. if i find something complicated, i understand that i have little talent to assess it and so ignore it, but there are not many things i find too complicated to think about. the question is not specific enough. if the question asked "I don't want to think about things that are generally regarded as 'complicated' " i would have answered false.

Q: I have a very high tolerance level
A: yes. i can not be bothered by most things. especially the behavior of others if it does not impinge on my intentions. but i do not have a tolerance for sensations that i find disturbing. again the question is not specific, but i interpreted it to mean a tolerance for other people's infractions on decency.

Q: Tears come to my eyes very often.
A: no. i never cry or feel emotional. although if i have a coughing fit, sometimes i notice my eyes are damp, but i rarely have coughing fits except when suffering a respiratory infection, or engaged in a laughter episode

Q:Some people tell me: "you are like a middle-aged man/woman"
A:no.

Q:I get angry quite often
A: no. i get frustrated at the traffic lights if i think they are programmed improperly, and i am prone to fits of impatience, but i think the question means "do i feel insulted or slighted or badly done by" or whatever, so the answer to that is no. i always forget what i was impatient about as soon as the obstacle clears.

Q: I like to be friends with those older than me
A: neither. i do not care for friends much. age is insignificant to me if i enjoy associating with someone. but i do not really have friends per se.

Q: I do not like to get up early in the morning
A: true. whatever.

Q: I care about my clothes and hair-style
A: False. my hair is like a page boy's cut as it has grown longish and i do not care until my fringe starts to brush against my eyelids. then i instruct the hairdresser to cut 3 inches off it all the way around, and it takes about 4 months for it all to grow long again and so i just repeat that process over and over. my clothes are just whatever is clean to wear, and what i choose to buy is just clothes that will fit me with no other consideration at all.

Q: I say "come on!" to myself every morning when getting up
A: false. i do not talk to myself at all. i just get up when i could not be bothered staying in bed any more. whenever it suits me.

Q: I know that "All reality is a phantom, and all phantoms are real"
A: No. i do not know what the question means really. does it mean that "all reality is an illusion, therefore all illusions are reality" ? i do not think so, but whatever be the case, i do not "know" it so the answer has to be "no"

Q:I always act before thinking
A:no. i always consider what i am going to do before i do it.

Q:I will be sleepless before a long journey
A: neither. can't be bothered explaining it's just "neither"

Q:I don't know what's popular among young people
A: true. although i really do know what's popular among young people is just s**t, but i don't know what their s**t is to any educated degree.

Q: i have a dream
A: no. i have no vision for the future of the earth. that answer may increase my mental age score. i think the question is based on the fact that the young are full of enthusiasm for their influence and the old are resigned and jaded and consigned to due to the fact they have seen many powerful movements dissolve in their time. but in my case, i never had any idea about the future of the earth except for it's geological future. as long as i live my slice of history through unscathed, i do not really care about the future because i know it all will dissolve anyway in the fullness of time.

Q: I have had some hard times in my life
A: false

Q: I sometimes waste: time, money, food, etc...
A: true.

Q:I can hit a cockroach with a book
A: no. i never tried and never will.

Q:I don't want to live alone
A: false. i need to live alone.

Q:I want to grow old
A: neither. i do want to live long enough until i am old, but i do not want to get there fast.

Q:I sometimes enjoy laughing at other people
A: yes. not laughing at their misfortune, but i often find people's expressions and behavior to be very funny because i imagine a caricature of them doing what they do. it always feels good to find something funny, even though one may lament after the fact that they found it funny.

Q:I'd prefer staying at home rather than going on a trip
A: yes. i can use google earth to "street view" most of the world and i do so often. i do not need to go there because i do not feel "vibes", so just the vision is adequate.

Q:I don't enjoy reading books
A:true. books are written in a way that there is about 40% in them that i want to know, and i can research exactly what i want to know much faster by just googling it.

Q:I have a plan for the future
A: neither. i am where i want to be. i am happy with my life as it is. i may buy a big property and move there some time, but for now i am happy just doing my routines uninterrupted.

Q:I sometimes feel like singing
A: neither. sometimes i will hum a song that i think up when i am in the car a long way from home so i can concrete it in to my mind so i do not forget it so i can play it when i get home, but otherwise i am not interested in singing.

Q:I'd rather live in the countryside rather than a huge metropolis
A: Yes. space and fresh air and the sounds of the true earth not being drowned out by the mayhem of society is what i like. i like natural places that have not been paved over by the streets and buildings of humans.

Q:I am often fooled by others
A: no. i am cynical and i rarely believe fully what anyone tells me.

Q:I am very emotional
A: no

Q: I can only be happy when I'm following my plan
A: yes. even though i do not see it as a plan. it is just a routine i fall into every day and i like to let it happen without obstruction. i own my house with nothing owing, and have enough income without having to work any more, so i just will go through my daily routines for the rest of my life. it is not an "unfolding plan". my life is cheap to run really.

Q: I will never miss a deadline
A: true. if i consider it to be a "deadline" that is. i will never chance a destructive outcome caused by my inattention to an obligation, and time constraints that apply to other peoples crucial involvement are not negotiable. i will always be where i say i will be at the time i say i will be there if i assure them i will be there at that time.

Q: are you male or female?
A: that is s stupid question to ask of today's population, but i am male.

Quizzes like these are part entertainment.

I see WP that way as well.
It, WP has other attributes depending on the time of day and my nearly normal brain. (Some say nah or meh, not even close) 8)

The first question must have made my IQ drop by about 50 points. "I have my principles". Say what?

I already gave up at question 2. Only they weren't really questions.

44. 13 years older. This might explain why I prefer relationships with 40-year-old men

..... Say what?

How can I be so high? Does maturity really come from complete isolation? That is interesting,

I actually though you was only about in your 20's or 30's in real life. No way did I think you was 60.

29. I'm 21. I'd have to agree because I feel older except for when it comes to social/emotional skills, where I feel more like 16 (social) and 10 (emotional).

I got 28. Even in fifth and sixth grade I felt like I was at least 26 so it makes sense.
